Aging Family Services


	Laura Harroun is a Geriatric Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Laura also received additional training through the Practicum Partnership Program at UNC-Chapel Hill to enhance her social work skills within an aging context. Laura’s professional experience in working with older adults and their families is diverse. Her experiences include providing care for an elderly gentleman in his home, completing a graduate social work internship at Jewish Family Services of the Durham-Chapel Hill Jewish Federation, previous employment with Aging Family Services, and also completing her undergraduate social work internship with Aging Family Services.
